She’s a social media geek, and that’s what I like about her! Of course, she uses the word “nerd” instead of geek, but that’s o.k.
She is also an actress, a model, and writer.
Alexa can be found on twitter, Myspace and Facebook, and she is quite active too. Further, she is getting her own website going.

Ms. Demara was kind of enough to answer a few questions for me in anticipation of this honor.
School?
AD: I won scholarships for my good grades. I did very well in both geeky and artsy things.
Favorite Movie?
AD: Old School
Favorite Website?
AD: Too many
“Most played” songs on ipod?
AD: I tend to play a variety. I listen to everything from Tool to Rihanna.
Facebook, twitter or Myspace?
AD: All of the above, apparently the Internet is like a virus that you can’t rid yourself of…
If you were stranded on an island, what would be your Six “must haves”?
AD: The only things that I would require are the Internet and a method of accessing the Internet, so I could sell all my belongings on CraigsList, because I’d probably prefer the island…
What is your best physical feature?
AD: my legs, apparently
What are the causes that are important to you?
AD: I tend to promote animal rights the most, since I have a special place for them in my heart. In the past, when I was interviewed on NBC, I mentioned my work with Brad Pitt’s ‘Make It Right‘ Foundation for the Hurricane Katrina victims. I’ve done walks and fundraisers for those suffering from Multiple Sclerosis. You will see me promoting a large variety of causes that I think are great.
