I got an email today from the North Texas athletic department, and it said that the UNT game against Florida International will be televised.  It is being televised on “ESPN Plus as part of the Sun Belt TV package.”  Locally, it will also be carried on TXA 21.  You can also catch the broadcast at ESPN360.com.  UNT is opening Sun Belt Conference play against FIU who’s only win last year was against the Mean Green.  UNT fans are hoping the opening stretch of games including games against LSU, Kansas State, and Tulsa will have the Mean Green prepared for Sun Belt Conference games.  The Mean Green will enter the game without Sam Dibrell who was one of UNT’s best receivers.  Dibrell left the team this week.  This just another blow in a tough year thus far for UNT.
